Sketch Saturday with Kingfisher (image by Ruth)

Hello bloggers,

just a quick one from me tonight. I've had trouble with my computer last night so couldn't upload this card I made with one of the gorgeous bird images from Ruth at apassionforstamps.

I followed the sketch at
Sketch Saturday and used my copics to colour the image, Nesties to cut it out, Design Paper is from Basic Grey and I used bright orange cardstock. Half pearls are from my stash, as is the ribbon on the double ended tag (Spellbinders). Sentiment is by PTI from their set "Birds of a feather", stamped in Versafine Smokey Grey.
Here is a detail shot of the digi stamp, which is available here: A passion for stamps.

Hope you like it!

The base colours shouldn't go with the main design colours - but they do! You have a good eye for colour (and great technique too)
