Will this cold ever leave?

Hello everyone, I seem to have been struggling with this cold since forever and it doesn't seem to shift properly. I can now get up and do some stuff at least which means I can show you what I did for my parents and parents in law for little pressies...
I made a recipe box for my mum for her favourite recipes. The hardest was to glue the box together, but it worked, hey!
For my mother in law I made a stationary box which has an address book, stamp pocket and holders for a pen, 6 cards, 6 notelets and 6 tags. I got the idea and instructions from Jackie, so thank you for that, it was great fun to make!
I also made a nugget tin, calendar with clear pocket to put different pictures/photos in, acetate tube and goodie bag with window for fudge. Oh and not to forget, a card! *lol* I think considering that I didn't have much time to do it all it came out quite nice.

Oh dear, I seem to be posting masses of pictures lately... hope you don't mind too much! I try to be better next time and restrict myself to a couple or so.

My entry for a chance to win a Slice machine...

I really wanted to have a go at this as I would love a Slice! Unfortunately I wa so busy with other stuff I couldn't get anything decent done, so I hope Liz, who kindly is giving the machine away, will like my very simple card made with the new home set!

Fab blog candy!

Just quickly as my birthday preparations are in full swing: there is fab candy over at Judes blog until the 10th of December, go and grab a chance, I have!

Bad blogger...

Sorry! After the holiday (which was great!) I didn't get round to posting yet! Had the christmas fair in sons pre school on Saturday (which was disastrous...) and lots of washing and cleaning to do at home. I know, boring!
Anyway, the upside of not selling much at the fair is that I now have lots of cards to send myself and only need a few more for orders and special family ones. Also, I can show them to you as I had no time to take pictures before the fair.
As there is so much to show I will keep the waffling about at this and just show you the pictures! Hope you like!

No cards, but fab news - for me!

Didn't have much time for crafting since my Marathon evening. I am slightly panicking now as I need to get a few more things done before next week Saturday, as there is a christmas fair I have a table at. Enough time to make something, you think? Well, it would be, if I didn't go on a short notice 4- day holiday on Monday!!! I am really excited as the last real and proper holiday is so long ago that I can't even remember when that was! Only seem to be going to visit family normally and that is still at least as much hard work as my normal routine, just without the chance to do some crafting in the evening.
So where are we going that is so exciting you ask? Prepare to laugh... We go to Centre Parcs Longleat Forest! I know, not exciting for most of you, but for me it is. I have never been to a Centre Parc in my life and heard so many good things about holidaying there with small kids! They even have kids entertainment, so I might get a bit of free time to myself! Now, do you think I should take some crafting stuff with me? And if so, what???? Wel, I still got the wekend to think about that and get a few things done for the fair as well... Take care and thank you for visiting!
