My Blog Candy with a twist!

Hello there!
As promised earlier, here is my new blog candy with a twist! I wanted to do one for a while and couldn't think of anything special as a reason, so now it's just like that. But to make it a bit more interesting for me I want you to do something to win my candy!
You can either make a card following my sketch underneath and link to it in your comment.
Or if you don't want to do that, make me laugh. Out loud! Tell me a really funny joke or an anecdode (spelling?), it doesn't matter what it is, but it has to be really funny!

Please let others know about my candy, too, by posting on your blog about it!

Here is my sketch then if you decide for the card :

Well and this is the price:

- A set of Nestabilities large plain Octagons
- A paket of designer Gromlets from We are Memorykeepers
- 5 pink glittery crads with envelopes
- A pack of flower shapes
- A 2x12 Papermania Oriental Spice Border pack
- 24 A4 sheets from the new Papermania Signature range Blueberry Hill and Regency (12 each)
- 20 6x6 sheets of Core'dinations Whitewash cardstock
- 1 Autumn Leaves Butterfly stamp
- 4 reels of American Crafts Ribbon
- Bottle of Silver Metallic 3D paint
- A wallet with Hanglar images

Hope you like my prize and I look forward to your entries!

Oh, this will close Saturday 30th of May!

I don't have a blog so can't upload card so will try a joke.

a man goes past a pet shop and sees a sign for a talking centipede £5000 and thinks "wow! that'll impress the lads down the pub bit pricey but well worth it!"
Goes into the pet shop and buys it and brings it home in a cardboard box. Later he decides to go to the pub and says to the centipede though the box. "Come on then lets go to the pub" Silence, so he thinks "hang on, I've bought a dud here so he repeats himself, Come on then lets go to the pub. Nothing. He starts opening the lid of the box and the centipede says "keep yer hair on, I heard you the first time - I was just getting me shoes on!!"
The silly ones are always the best!!

Hi Thanks for giving us this chance hope you find this funny
Jaycie x

A man and woman had been married for more than 60 years.
They had shared everything. They had talked about everything.
They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little
old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she had
cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.
For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but
one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said
She would not recover.
In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took
down the shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside.
She agreed that it was time that he should know what was
in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls
and a stack of money totaling $95,000.
He asked her about the contents. 'When we were to be married,'
she said, 'my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage
was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you,
I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll.'
The little old man was so moved; he had to fight back tears. Only two
precious dolls were in the box. She had only been angry with him two
times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with
happiness.
'Honey,' he said, 'that explains the doll, but what about all of this money?
Where did it come from?'
'Oh,' she said, 'that's the money I made from selling the dolls.'

I'm still working on my card but I thought you might chuckle at my little boys anecdote from this week ...... he was out in the garden talking to Daddy and they were talking about birds. He just came out with "Dad, what do you like about birds? Do you like tits? I do ..... but before you start being rude I mean birds that fly and the type of birds" He was so straightfaced and innocent about it (he's only 5 but obviously not as green as he's cabbage looking!)but Daddy ended up spitting into his tea. Not a funny joke, but as a mum to boys you've gotta see the funny side!

Here is what I've got in hopes of making you laugh:

If crafting is a petty crime I will soon be doing time If crafting is against the law I'll do time forever more

I sit and craft from morn 'til night,
my family do despair,
but armed with heat gun, ink pads too, I really just don't care

The more I see, the more I want, I cannot see an end,
to sticky pads and funky foam, I have to spend, spend, spend

I made a candle, just last week, it turned out quite a mess, I think I'll stick to making cards, coz that's what I do best

I don't have a blog of my own but I do have e-mail and I have sent a link to your site to all my crafty gal pals!

Never laughed to much, kept me going all weekend my poor boy panicking............

A frog telephones the Psychic Hotline and is told, "You are going to meet a beautiful young girl who will want to know everything about you."

The frog says, "This is great! Will I meet her at a party, or
what?"

"No," says the psychic. "Next semester in her biology class."

Thanks for the chance at great candy!

I posted about your blog candy in the bar on the right side of my blog: Paper Crafts, Pass It OnTrue story that still makes me laugh when I think about it: Two years ago I developed paralysis of the left arm. This was exceptionally hard on me because I am left handed. I was experiencing atrophy of the muscles in my hand, and ended up having surgery to help save my hand. Like a true diehard scrapbooker, the first thing I asked the Dr. when I came out of surgery was “when can I scrap again”. Knowing what I meant when I said that, the nurses chuckled a little. The Dr. looked at me intensely and replied, “there will be no wrestling for you my dear for a good while.” Hearing this, the whole staff broke out in a roar of laughter. The Dr. had thought by scrap I meant to fight.

A biker out on a long summer ride in the country pulls up to a pub in the middle of nowhere, parks his bike and walks inside.

As he passes through the swinging doors, he sees a sign hanging over the bar:

COLD BEER: £2.00

HAMBURGER: £2.25

CHEESEBURGER: £2.50

CHICKEN SANDWICH: £3.50

HAND JOB: £50.00

Checking his wallet to be sure he had the necessary payment, the biker walks up to the bar and beckons to the exceptionally attractive female bartender who is serving drinks to a couple of sun-wrinkled farmers.

She glides down behind the bar to the biker.

"Yes?" she inquires with a wide, knowing smile,
"may I help you?"

The biker leans over the bar,
"I was wondering young lady," he whispers,
"are you the one who gives the hand jobs?"

She looks into his eyes with a wide smile and purrs
"Why, yes, yes, I am".

The biker leans closer and into her left ear whispers softly,
"Well, wash your hands pet, then get me a cheeseburger

havent had time to craft but i hope u smile at the joke

Well I didn't get a chance to finish a card so here is a joke I hope you like it.
Naming the Twins
A man was taking his wife, who was pregnant with twins, to the hospital when his car went out of control and crashed.

Regaining consciousness, he saw his brother, a relentless practical joker, sitting at his bed side.

He asked his brother how his wife was doing and his brother said, "Don't worry, everybody is fine and you have a son and a daughter.

But the hospital was in a real hurry to
get the birth certificates filed and since both you and your wife were unconscious, I named them for you."

The husband was thinking to himself, "Oh no, what has he done now?" and asked with some trepidation, "Well, bro, what did you name them?"

Whereupon, his brother replied, "I named the little girl Denise."

The husband, relieved, said, "That's a lovely name! And what did you come up with for my son?"

The brother winked and replied, "Denephew."
