as promised, here I am with the first big lot of my stash that I no longer need/want. I have to admit I not even made a dent in my stash... oops!

I will probably have another go at clearing out later but this is it for now. I will only put minimal info on as it is such a mammoth task, but if you want any more information or would like to buy anything, please send me an email (to be found in my sidebar).

Prices do not include postage, however I will only charge what I actually pay in postage and will calculate as soon as I know what you want.

My weekend...

Right, kind of late, but I have to do it: Big shout and even bigger hugs to Jules and Lesley for being such great crafty friends! I just had such a lovely day Saturday, even with being a tiny bit ill in the late afternoon. It was so nice to be able to sit down with like minded friends for some crafting and chatting without feeling awkward that I get excited over paper and inks and stamps...

And the creative energy those two have is just amazing! I got so inspired I couldn't stop colouring! I even copied a colour scheme that Julie used on an image almost exactly. Luckily she didn't mind! That's friends for you!

Julie also brought a lovely gift basket filled with chocolate for me and Lesley each and I am shamelessly pinching her pictures of mine as I have not very good light in my room at the moment and don't want to wait...

Lesley got one in matching colours to her fabulous craft room. Lesley also was extremely generous and had a pad of my very favourite watercolour paper for each of us which I started using right away for some lovely images I pinched from Julie.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to you for a day to remember. It really is my light at the end of a long tunnel when we get together for a day! *hugs*

I have another card for you that I did for the March Friendship Swap on DC, it's a Hero Arts digi download that was inspired by Jennifer McGuire, coloured with copics and glittered.

Lastly before I start working on my big sale post, I leave you with a quick card I made on Saturday that I quite like although there are a few "oopsies" on it. Distress inks, a bit of heat embossing and punched butterflies...

Mo's DT spot Challenge - Sketch

Hello fellow bloggers,

before I will post my entry for the challenge on Mos DT blog, where I am sooo hoping to win a guest DT spot, I want to tell you how much I love her images and how much fun I had to colour them. I did the tantrum one on Saturday sitting next to my dear friends Lesley and Julie while chatting, laughing and generally having a great time! I'll tell you more about that in the next post where you'll also be able to see the lovely gift Julie made for me.

Now on to my challenge cards. I actually made two as the sketch is a really good one and there is an abundance of gorgeous images to choose from. I used Tabitha fairy for the one and "Two Tasha" for the other one. Love them to bits.

First off Tasha and her Tantrum:

Isn't she cute even with that tantrum? I used a Hero Arts sentiment, Papermania papers from the red hot capsule collection, pink and white cardstock and some scrap papers from Lesleys stash for the leaves. Tools I used were a flower punch (sorry, don't know the brand) to make the roses, leaves punch by McGill I think (Lesleys stash again...) and a Martha Stewart border punch. I added some pearls for added bling and edged all my papers with Distress Ink by Tim Holtz in Victorian Velvet. The image is coloured with Copic Markers and I added a bit of sparkle on her Tiara with a Sakura Stardust pen in clear.

Hope you like her as much as I do!

Right, next up is Tabitha, the bubble blowing fairy. I have to admit I struggeled a bit with her skin colour as I never done such a dark skin tone before, but it's not too bad I hope.

The sentiment is from Papertreyink, butterfly s a MS punch again, I also used the MS border punch again. Papers on this are Basic Grey Wisteria range (love them!) and I used some organza ribbon with added gemstones, also some gems on the butterfly body. I used my trusty copics for colouring and also added some depth to the butterfly punch-out with markers.

I know it doesn't show but the veins of Tabithas wings are glittered with copic spica pens in clear and I added glossy accents to the bubbles and her little bottle.

Hello blogger friends, how are you all? My spring cleaning looks like it's coming to an end (finally!) and I have a stack full of things that I don't use anymore or just got too much of. I will put up a post soon showing piccies of what I am getting rid of and hopefully some of you will grab a bargain and give them a new home. So far I have stamps (Magnolias and Penny Blacks among them), papers in different sizes and designs by different brands, punches, brads, inks and even a tote!

Spring cleaning

Hello Bloggers,

I have been really busy for the next issue of Creativity magazine lately, but now that this is out of the way I will spring clean my craft room.

It is bursting at the seams with stuff I bought and never used or don't use anymore or simply just can't bear to throw out. But I am determined to make it into an organised lovely space again and that might take a few more days as time is limited. The kids are still too small to be left to their own devices and in the evening hubby wants to spend time with me now and again, too.

Well, that is just what is going on in my world right now but I will be back soon with more cards and other projects and probably even with some stuff from my clear out for sale.

Mo's Digital Challenge - Clean and Simple

Clean and simple... I can do that... well that's what I thought anyway *lol*

First hurdle - deciding which image!! There are so many fantastic ones!

Couldn't make my mind up so I made a set ;-) Oh, deeds were: no layers, just white or cream card and one ribbon!

Coloured with Copics on two and Prismas on the other two.

P.S. After a lovely comment I realised I'd forgotten to tell you about the sentiment... oops! Sorry! I created them on the computer with one of my favourite fonts, Ali's Hand!

Truly Scrumptious sketch challenge card

And post number three for tonight ;-)

This is another of the images Ruth sent me - topiary. I used it for the Truly Scrumptious sketch challenge. I turned the sketch on the side for this.

I coloured with Copics, corners have been punched with an MS punch "rings" and layered onto pink card. The backing paper is Core'dinations CB embossed and sanded down a bit. I used purple organza ribbon (Anitas) and some pink eyelets. Sentiment is by "My sentiments exactly".
