Cards from my time MIA

Hello bloggers,

I was MIA for a little while because life got soo busy here I hardly hat time to blog or craft much. I did get a few cards done, but not had a chance to show them yet. I want to "get them out of the way" now *lol* so here there are without much ado.

This card was made for Georgia (also known as 'lil G) to cheer her up, hope it did! One of Mo's wonderful images again, coloured in Copics, background and sentiment stamped with PTI stamps, other bits from stash.

These flowers were really hard to photograph! They were made with my cricut and a file I got here. They were quite easy to do and once I had sourced some proper floral tape for the wire stems it got together really quickly as well.

This card went together with the flowers as a thank you for a friend who helped me out with my kids. I made it at a craft get-together I go to once a month where we had a theme of playing with shapes and rather not too many embellies. Quite liked this simple look!

Here I have a little quicky card I loved doing as I rarely have the chance to make a card for a teenage girl! A friends niece is in hospital with tonsilitis (?) and she needed a card, so I dug out this Magnolia Tilda and used PTI stamps and ribbon from stash. Tilda was partly paper-pieced and partly coloured with Copics.

This card is my birthday card for one of my dearest crafty friends, Julie. I sent it a tad late on the day before her actual birthday and it arrived too late, but I heard she liked it still *lol*
Mo image again (it's called "Kissy") coloured with Copics, Hero Arts swirl stamp for background, sentiment and button are PTI and some lovely old lace I got from a kind crafter!

These last two are identical and I made them for Julie and Lesley. I love the PTI set I used for them and what better way to use them than for a couple of crafty friends who'll "get" it?!

Hope you liked my quickfire post and as always I look forward to your comments! Thanks for stopping by!

I laughed my sox off when I received your card, Alex. It is so funny and so perfect for Julie and me. Thank you so much! I love your other cards in this post too. Your sentiment is so perfect for the "under the weather" card and Julie's birthday card is gorgeous!!! Your flowers are amazing. The one on the card is lovely but the Chrisanths are Divine with a capital D. Beautiful work!!! Love Lesley

Brilliant cards Alex, Love the Mo image one, you have coloured her so beautifully. I had to think for a while what you meant by MIA, this is my eldest Grandaughters name, so it caught my eye, But I guess you mean 'missing in action'? Hugs Linda xx
