Mo's Digital Challenge - Clean and Simple

Clean and simple... I can do that... well that's what I thought anyway *lol*
First hurdle - deciding which image!! There are so many fantastic ones!
Couldn't make my mind up so I made a set ;-) Oh, deeds were: no layers, just white or cream card and one ribbon!
Coloured with Copics on two and Prismas on the other two.

Hope you like it!

P.S. After a lovely comment I realised I'd forgotten to tell you about the sentiment... oops! Sorry! I created them on the computer with one of my favourite fonts, Ali's Hand!

Truly Scrumptious sketch challenge card

And post number three for tonight ;-)

This is another of the images Ruth sent me - topiary. I used it for the Truly Scrumptious sketch challenge. I turned the sketch on the side for this.
I coloured with Copics, corners have been punched with an MS punch "rings" and layered onto pink card. The backing paper is Core'dinations CB embossed and sanded down a bit. I used purple organza ribbon (Anitas) and some pink eyelets. Sentiment is by "My sentiments exactly".

Hope you like it!

Multi challenge card

Wowee... second post for tonight ;-)
Just want to share this multi challenge card I did with the bedside table image by Ruth.
I made it for these challenges:
- CPS Sketch challenge no. 154 (too late... should have uploaded earlier *lol*)
- Stampavie - get well
- Creative Card Crew - get well soon
- Caardvarks - Stickers
- Paper Cutz Challenge - Get well
- Totally Paper Crafts - lots of spots

The image is again coloured in copics, cut out and layered onto SU design papers and cardstock. More SU papers behind, sentiment is from PTI Scattered Showers Additions.
The spots are stamped with the PTI Polka Doy Basics II set. Ribbon is stapled on.

Hope you like it!

Creative Inspirations challenge card

Hello Bloggers, hope you had a lovely weekend!

This card is using the lovely puppies image by Ruth and isn't it sweet?
I made it to fit the Creative Inspirations challenge which is "Sepia"
I coloured with my Copics and cut the image with Labels Nesties that I inked up with a bit of Vintage Photo Distress ink. I used different shades of brown card (SU and K&Co. I think) and copper organza ribbon (Anitas). The sentiment is from a set that I can't recall the make of at the moment. Some brown pearls to finish...

Hope you like it!

Copics Colour challenge/ Floral challenge on DC and my first DT spot!

Hello lovely bloggers!
I haven't got much time as I have a Stampin up party in my house this afternoon and need to tidy a bit. But can't wait to tell you that the lovely Ruth from A passion for stamps asked little old me to join her Design Team! I was so chuffed! And of course I said yes. And here is my first card with one of her lovely images. I used to for a floral challenge on DoCrafts which asked for floral image - check, some kind of stitching - check and an optional handmade flower - check! I made the flower with punched flowers from Basic Grey Porcelain papers which I also used for the backing paper. The lace is from my late grandmother and a soft pink which isn't too visible on the picture.
I also combined it with challenge 52 on the Copic Colour Challenge blog which asked for G21 (Lime Green), R11 (Pale Cherry Pink) and C3 (Cool Grey) to colour the image. I have all of those and used some similar ones as well to add depth. Some dew drops in the corner to embellish and leaves and alphabet stickers from the BG Porcelain pack as well.

Hope you like it, I do! And watch out for a few more cards with Ruth's images...

Another day, another try...

Hello bloggers, I got my family over for a long weekend visit and only have a little time, so just a few more of my older projects today.
Sorry about picture quality on the card, I hadn't had time to take a better before sending it off...

Ta-dah! At last some pics...

As I have to catch up a lot, I will be posting a few projects per post without too much blabla around it. If you want to know anything, like products used etc. please just leave a comment asking for it and I will happily add to my post!
So, without further ado, here are my projects, some dating back to August/September 2009... if you visit my DC gallery you might have spotted them there already.

Merry Christmas, happy new year and... SORRY!

I am really sorry I have gone AWOL for so long! My life has just been crazy with lots of illness (mainly my little ones), additions to the house being done (new flooring was the latest, and yes, it looks fab and was worth it!)
Anyway, I have had a little virtual slap on the wrist from the lovely Lesley for not posting and I have promised myself I would make an effort to post again more regularly!
I have been meaning to do this all week and only didn't because I have soo many pics to share that I need to get from my camera onto the computer and uploaded here as well as add some description of sorts... a daunting task and I kept putting it off. Now I bit the bullet and post WITHOUT any pics. Yep, that's right. Now that I posted this I will make sure to upload a few pics at a time until I caught up. Hope you can bear with me and you can forgive this naughty blogger!
Bye for now, got to tidy the house for parents to visit today... have a lovely day, bloggers!
