Whiff of Joy sketch challenge

I really like those challenges, makes me do things I normally don't and I am most of the time really pleased with the results. This time I made another card for a Whiff of Joy sketch challenge. The Sketch looks like this:

Obviously you have to use a Whiff of Joy stamp and I chose the lovely Willow carrying cookies again, it is just so sweet! Papers are by K & Co. and the sentiment from PTI, the buttons are from my stash and the ribbon is salvaged from some clothing.

I cut out the double sided tag with a spellbinder die on my cuttlebug and used some foam pads to slightly lift it from the backing paper.

The scalloped edges are cut with my Woodware papertrimmer with fancy edge blades and I used my Crop-a-dile to punch the holes in the scallops.

Willow is coloured in with distress inks and Highlights are done with a white gel pen. I also used a sponge and more distress ink to age the image a little.

For the first time I've done the inside of the card as well and quite like the effect of everything being tied in together.

Thank you for looking and hope to see you soon again on my blog!

Love these papers - I've got them somewhere!

I think I might have to invest in the WW trimmer - love the effect you've got with the scalloped edge.
